"Our building was severely damaged by the earthquakes of 2011, and apart from any repairs it also required a modern upgrade from its 1990’s appearance to make the building more lettable in the marketplace. Fitz Consulting came recommended to the Trustees and me as a firm to help us achieve the repair and refurbishment of 334 Manchester street. The two-story 1500 m2 building required demolition and replacement of the roof, partition walls, flooring, structural upgrade, fire system upgrade, complete rewire, brand new plumbing, and redesign of bathroom areas. For the past ten years, we have been working with the same group of three primary LBP’s in the Canterbury Region. Our relationship with them has been established over many years of trust and successfully completed projects. Each LBP has their specialty area of expertise, and we allocate our projects to the LBP whose skill set best suits the project that has been awarded. If we are working on a retaining wall, we will work with our Civil LBP, a building strengthening project with a Commercial-based LBP. For home renovations, we use our Renovation LBP.
Our ability to adapt to the various types of projects with the correct set of skills allows us to diversify into three areas of construction that we excel in: Residential & Commercial renovations and specialty Civil Projects.

We spend an enormous amount of time before a project begins on our due diligence for what will be required to ensure everything is accounted for. The due diligence period is “free” to our clients but critical for ensuring a project goes smoothly from the start.
