67% is the magic NBS (new building standard) number if you want to sell your commercial building conventionally. After ten years of navigating CCC rules and regulations, our firm specializes in bringing all buildings up to 67% NBS or higher. Regardless of whether or not an earthquake has damaged a building, the building can still be below 67% simply because it was built in a way that deems it structurally insufficient. This now includes fire compliance, egress, handicap accessibility, and a variety of other compliance-related upgrades.

If your building doesn’t have an engineer’s DSA (detailed seismic assessment) / DEE (detailed engineering evaluation) report, which will determine the NBS %, we can provide you with a DSA report in a short amount of time.
